About Me
My name is Hannah Nielsen and I am a Visual Arts major with a specialization in Graphic Design at The College of New Jersey. I am currently going down a print path in my studies in order to eventually work in the fashion industry within clothing or package design. I am also the creator and owner of Craft & Canvas Studio, an Etsy shop I opened in the summer of 2020 that sells customized sneakers painted with Angelus Leather acrylic.
Creating a visual language.
Throughout my work I like to communicate through imagery. I try to make my designs feel cohesive while also being experimental and unique.
My process typically starts off on a tablet where I create sketches. Next, I work in mainly the Adobe applications, including Photoshop and Illustrator, to make mockups and the finalized design.
My main influences include the clothing brand Teddy Fresh, artist Marcelina Amelia, and the lifestyle brand Octaevo.
